About Us
Lawrence Community Care is a veteran owned and operated, single provider medical practice. We support our nation, we support our troops, and we want to support our community.
Meet our Provider & Practice Owner
Hello, my name is Kevin Ferrell and I want to be your medical provider! I am a career U.S. Army medical provider with 30 years of military service to our country. During this time, I have held many jobs and ranks related directly to patient care, especially within emergency medicine. I served as a helicopter flight medic on two overseas deployments: Bosnia- Herzegovina and Iraq. I have also been an active-duty Army Physician Associate for the last seven years.
Luckily (for my wife) I have decided to retire from Army life and have dedicated my next form of public service to the community in which we live. Working as an emergency department healthcare provider, I have seen firsthand what regular people go through when trying to navigate the ailing, and often defunct, healthcare system. Medical providers are constantly being pressured by big insurance companies and the government to see more patients in less time and to do more with less. We are even told which tests can or cannot be ordered. It’s time for a change…
A healthcare visit should consist of more than just a five-minute consultation with a prescription thrown in for good measure. At Lawrence Community Care, we believe that every person deserves quality healthcare at an affordable price.
I am looking forward to providing our family, friends, church, and community with compassionate, affordable care delivered with confidentiality!
Meet our Practice Manager:
Rachel and Kevin have been married for over 15 years and are both from southwest Michigan. Although Rachel has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, she chose to stay home and care for our three boys during my multiple military deployments. Now that the children are grown, she is using her skills to help breathe life into our joint venture, Lawrence Community Care. She cannot wait to meet you and help get your healthcare needs addressed. So, say hello when you call with questions or make your next appointment.
