What is Direct-Pay Care?
At Lawrence Community Care, we use a “direct-pay for care” model to bring affordable healthcare to our community. This means that all payments are due at the time of service. Direct-pay allows us to skip the cost of additional employees and restrictive government policies. It allows your provider the freedom to practice medicine the way it used to be… cost effective, friendly, and confidential.
Did you know, big insurance companies dictate how much time a provider can spend with each patient? They also limit what tests can or cannot be performed. At Lawrence Community Care, we do not bill insurance, including Medicaid or Medicare. By not accepting insurance, we are able to concentrate on what matters most, you! Also, by not having to hire a full-time medical biller and coder, we keep costs down and pass that savings on to you.
*You can still use your insurance for outside testing, specialists, and hospital care. Please check with your insurance company on their requirements.

In May of 2023 we purchased a building in downtown Lawence, MI.
We have been busily working on renovating it.

After some bumps in the road, many long hours of renovations (and a lot of help), we are ready to open our doors! Stop by for a free blood pressure check, or just to get more information.
Our hope it to provide excellent care with one low monthly price with our Care Memberships. We’re building in many perks for members like a limited in-house pharmacy and labs at wholesale prices!
In addition to our Care Memberships, we will continue to offer direct-pay telemedicine and urgent care services. We’ll host walk-in hours as well as schedule traditional appointments. Now that we have an office to call home, House Calls will be performed at the providers discretion on an as needed basis.
